Brand evangelists aren’t made overnight. They are a result of a brand’s relationship with its users; with people who resonate with the same values as them and believe that they can better the lives of several others like them. How many times have you witnessed a brand community meet wherein ideas are exchanged and feedback is taken seriously; where users contribute to the design and make of the service they use, and brainstorm ideas with their favourite brands?
That is how it is every time at our Bounce community meets. In July, the conference room at the corporate office was filled with cheerleaders and ambassadors who truly believed in our vision. We had met with our community for a fun session of brainstorming, and discussing areas of improvement from our users’ points of view.
When our community started out, we had about 15-18 odd members who believed in the value that Bounce was adding to their daily lives. Fast-forward to today, and our community is growing like never before – a 100 riders stronger, and several steps closer to making easy commute a reality in India.
To say we’re blessed to have a community of Bounce enthusiasts is an understatement. They not only treat these scooters as their own, but go out of the way in being our eyes and ears into the city. Ask us who these anonymous angels are – the ones who give us real-time updates on which bike is parked wrongly and where, the bikes that do not have helmets or have run out of fuel, bikes that need repair, or any cases of suspicious activity. Ask us, and we’ll tell you it’s them – our growing community of Bounce enthusiasts and happy elves who are equally invested in making mobility a fundamental right in India.

Having hit a record-breaking number of 70,000 rides a day, we are certain that we couldn’t have done it without our champion users who played a silent, but impactful role in our getting here. What makes our community extra special, one might ask. So, we spoke to another one of our champion riders, and we loved all the things he had to say!
Alston is a working dad, and a regular Bounce rider. He and his family have shared several sweet moments on our scooters. From regular shopping trips to school trips, he has done it all on a Bounce, and it is no wonder that he remains one of our biggest cheerleaders.

Our scooters have truly simplified daily commute in a city like Bengaluru, and we are certain that we couldn’t have done it without them. Today, Bounce has clocked over a million rides.
